23 Jan Annual Deputy Principal’s Conference & Education Expo 2026
The new year is underway, the school term is in full swing, and conversations are once again turning to one of the most important dates in the education calendar. The Annual Deputy Principal’s Conference & Education Expo 2026 is set to bring deputy principals from across Ireland together for two days of connection, reflection and forward thinking.
Taking place on Thursday 5th and Friday 6th February 2026, the conference will be hosted at The Johnstown Estate, providing the ideal setting for meaningful discussion, shared learning and collaboration among school leaders.
Leading Inclusion
This year’s conference theme, Leading Inclusion, places a strong focus on the evolving role of deputy principals in supporting diverse school communities. Across the programme, speakers and seminars will explore inclusive leadership, neurodiversity, classroom practice and the realities of managing complex school environments with empathy and clarity.
As always, the conference remains a vital opportunity for deputy principals to step away from the day-to-day, exchange ideas with peers, and return to their schools with fresh perspective and renewed confidence. Running alongside the conference, the Education Expo continues to be a central hub for conversation, discovery and practical solutions.
